The Y is excited to roll out the new format for before and afterschool programs!

Before school care starts at 7:00am and the bus will pick up here at the YMCA and take them directly to Barry, Smith and Randall.

After school starts when the bus drops off from Barry, Smith, Randall (about 3:50pm) and runs until 5:30pm.
We follow the Cortland School District Calendar.

Before School is only available as a 5 day per week registration.

Afterschool is available as either a 3, 4, or 5 day registration. If selecting a part time option, children must attend the same days each week.

Our program offers homework help, outside time, gym games, arts and crafts.

2026-27 Registration Costs

At time of registration, you will pay a $25 NON-REFUNDABLE registration fee. Payment will occur as an automatic draft on Mondays for the upcoming payment week. This applies to self pay and subsidized enrollment. A payment method of your choosing will be placed on file for the weekly draft.

DSS Subsidies & YMCA Financial Assistance

Department of Social Services subsidies are accepted: Please note that if you are looking to utilize a DSS Subsidy, you need to register by contacting Senior Director of Memberships and Programs, Emily LeViere, at eleviere@ithacaymca.com or 607-882-9126. Please do NOT register online if you have or plan to get a DSS subsidy.
