TAKE A BREAK WITH DROP IN CHILDCARE
Did you know the YMCA offers drop in childcare, known as childwatch? Children ages 4 months-9 years of age can stay with us for up to two hours a day while their caregivers work out, run errands, or attend to other matters outside of the Y.
CHILD WATCH HOURS:
Monday-Friday 9am-12pm
Note: There is a 2-hour a day limit, reservations strongly encouraged.
Please be sure to make reservations in advance! Only so many children can attend per hour, so to secure your spot in advance, we’d encourage reservations 2-3 days in advance. Reservations CANNOT be made more than 7 days in advance.
- Child Watch services are FREE for Family/Household members and only $5 per hour per child for Youth members. The Youth member fee must be paid BEFORE taking your child(ren) to Child Watch.
- Non-members may utilize the YMCA’s Child Watch services for a fee of $10 per hour, per child. The child(ren) will not be required to pay the guest fee, but any accompanying adult will need to. All fees must be paid BEFORE taking your child(ren) to Child Watch. The accompanying adults will also need to remain in the building while the children are in Child Watch. There is a two-hour daily limit. All other Child Watch policies apply.
- Any receipts of any payment must be shown to Child Watch staff before dropping your child off.
- Reservations can be made in person at the front desk or by phone and are limited to two hours per child per day. We may be full or close the room due to a lack of reservations. We reserve the right to close anytime due to lack of use or reservation.
- Only Family Members are eligible to make reservations: Individuals and Nonmembers are walk-in only.
- There is a grace period of 15 minutes, if the reserved child does not show up the room may potentially close or the spot given to another child, and a $10 fee will be charged to the payment method on file.
- You will need to complete a new emergency card for each of your children which can be obtained at the front desk.
