Cortland YMCA Summer Day Camp Program
Join the YMCA for our summer day camp serving ages 5-12 years old!
Summer camp will run June 29th to September 4th, 2026,
Camp activities include swimming, arts and crafts, gym games, active play, and more!
Camp Hours: 7:30am-5:30pm
Family Member registration starts February 1st!
Youth member registration starts February 5th!
Non-member registration starts February 8th!

Important Camp Information:
A late fee of $1/per minute per child will be charged if picking your child up after 5:30pm. If repeated lateness occurs, your child will be removed from the program.
Where to drop off Camp will be held downstairs at the Cortland YMCA. Once you enter the building, tell the desk staff you’re here for camp and they can direct you to our camp’s location. On your first day of camp, you will complete the required paperwork, meet your counselor, and sign your child in. Children must be signed in and out by approved pickup people each day.
Early communication allows us to work together to ensure we can provide appropriate support and a positive camp experience for every participant.
What to Bring to Camp!
Camp success comes from being prepared! Please make sure your camper has:
- A refillable water bottle
- Lunch and snacks (please notify Rachael of any allergies)
- Swim suit/Towel
- Backpack
- Change of clothes
- Closed Toe Shoes
- Sunscreen (and apply it before arrive at camp)
Please leave electronics and valuables at home. Summer camp is very active and the Y staff will facilitate activities all day, please leave toys and games at home.
Summer 2026 Pricing:
At time of registration, a weekly deposit of $25 will be paid for each camp session your child is registered for. The remaining balance will draft automatically from the payment method of your choosing on the Monday before the camp week.
Camp rates:
Family Members: $235/week
Youth Members: $245/week
Non Members: $275/week
Financial Access to Camp
The Cortland County Family YMCA proudly accepts DSS Child Care Subsidies from Cortland, Cayuga, and Tioga County DSS.
If your application for a child care subsidy is denied, families are encouraged to apply for a YMCA Camp Scholarship. The Y is committed to making camp accessible for all families, regardless of financial need.

Summer Camp is offered on a weekly registration basis, each week requiring payment of $25 deposit at time of registration.
