The Cortland YMCA’s health and wellness team welcomes Cize dance into its growing fitness program. Cize, by Beachbody, is a new and invigorating dance class.
“Cize is the end of exercise,” claims Cize and Beachbody Certified Instructor, Stacey Edgar. Edgar says that Cize is all about having fun and dancing to the top hip hop songs. “The routine starts slow until we “Cize” it up. Then it’s just having fun and moving to the fast hip hop beats.”
Edgar says, “I’ve been a dancer all my life. There has never been an adult hip hop class in the area and now that I’m bringing Cize to the area I think it will bring out everyday people who love to dance to get an amazing work out and sweat while you do it!”
Cize will be held Wednesday nights at the Cortland YMCA, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. starting July 20th in the group exercise room. Cize is free to Y members and a nominal fee for non-members. A free-trial class will be offered July 20th for anyone interested.
Colin Wilson, Health and Wellness Director at the Cortland Y, said he is “excited” to offer one of the latest dance fitness classes offered. “Beachbody has brought the fitness world P90X, Insanity, and much more, and I am excited to bring Cize here to the Y.”
The Cortland County Family YMCA has been proudly serving Cortland and the surrounding community for the past 148 years.
